Process: Anaerobic Bourbon Barrel (Experimental)
Story: This coffee was done in partnership with El Vergel and Black Gold Coffee Roasters for Black Gold's 10th Anniversary. We were able to get our hands on a SUPER limited quantity. What makes it unique is El Vergel got some bourbon barrels from Breckenridge Distillery in Colorado and took them back to Colombia. After harvesting they put the coffee into the bourbon barrels to age and ferment. This has led to a coffee that is complex & enjoyable.
